At Rainbow International School, all students, teachers, and staff members have the right to a safe, encouraging, respectful school environment.  We believe that respecting and caring for oneself, others, and the environment is of extreme importance.  The conduct of each individual reflects the values held within the school’s programs, policies and ideals. To that end, our key focal points in this area are the physical and mental well-being as well as academic growth and success of every student.

We believe that each individual is responsible for his/her own behavior and will accept the consequences, both positive and negative, resulting from such behavior.  Cooperation and respect for the judgment of the teachers and other school staff members is expected. Students are encouraged to utilize self-control, develop a sense of regard for fellow students, and take pride in their school and community.

Because one of the goals of education is self-discipline, it is important that all parents, teachers, and administrators work closely together to help students establish guidelines for acceptable behavior. In order to maintain good order and discipline within the school system, parents and students are required to know the expectations and share the responsibility for the maintenance of a healthy educational environment. Appropriate action will be taken by the school administration, in consultation with the parents, community resources, and authorities should inappropriate behavior of a student continue to disrupt the educational program.
