Dear Parents,

Welcome to Rainbow International School.

In the following pages you should find all the information you need to understand our policies and application procedure. If you have any questions at any time please do not hesitate to contact our Admissions Office.

We request official copies of all applicants' academic records for review by our Admissions Office to determine your child's initial grade placement. An official copy of your child's academic record can be obtained from your child's previous school. If records are in a language other than English, please have the records translated into English and certified. For Elementary School applicants, if the school records are not available, please request a letter certifying the year(s) attended by your child at that school. If you do not have these records with you now, please send the records to us as soon as possible.

English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) support is available to students with limited or no English. An ESL specialist will teach the students with no English background in ESL Stream program for 5 periods per day, and another ESL specialist will teach the students with limited English during Language Arts classes (1 or 2 periods per day).

Please note that RIS policy is that students must be in full-time residence with at least one parent or a legal guardian.
